Noel made beer bread today. Mmmmm, yummy beer bread. The only bottle opener we have in the house is one I have had for a long time. It plays the Ohio State fight song every time you open a bottle of beer (or when you put it on your toe).

First, I must know how to make beer bread. It sounds wonderful. Second, that girl has spunk. She is sure to cheer!

Ingredients
3 cups self-rising flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
12 ounces beer
2 tablespoons melted butter
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Mix all ingredients except melted butter together-stirring just until blended.
3. Pour into greased bread loaf pan.
4. Spread melted butter over the top of the bread during the last 10 minutes of baking.
5. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
